Skycoin was entirely built from scratch to address **BTC** and **ETH** consensus and scalability problems by developers of both projects. Additionally, Fiber provides [Skywire](https://www.skycoin.com/skywire/), an end-to-end encrypted dark mesh **VPN** faster than TCP/IP inside the mesh perimeter through the use of Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).
